The Kent Life

Hola todo!      This week was crazy and tough at the same time.     We tracted and sought teaching lessons, and they fell through and people didn't want to listen. The people that we're teaching aren't progressing, so we have to be creative. We invited numerous people to watch General Conference this coming weekend. Although the week wasn't easy, I was able to point out one amazing thing. A couple in my branch got sealed, so it was neat to witness a live sealing for my first time! Afterward, our first counselor and his wife took us out to Indian food. I've had it before, and I was excited to have it again. My companion had never had it before, so it was funny to see him question certain menu items. It was delicious!     Our two friends Edelmira and Joel were too busy this week to meet in person, so that was a struggle. We're praying that we can get them baptized this transfer since they've done everything necessary for preparation.     I hope...

Always good to receive revelation from my mission president and be with so many other missionaries.     Our Spanish branch had a huge Fiesta with food, music, and dances on Friday. It was a HUGE turnout. We're talking 200+ people!! Which means a lot of friends showed up and it was a great missionary opportunity. The point of the Fiesta was that many South American countries were being represented as part of Hispanic Heritage Month. It was great, although I was REALLY anxious to understand everyone's Spanish.     It's been hard this week because I messed up a few times with Spanish...
