Change After Change
Hello everyone! Hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving! Eating lots of good food with friends and family is such a great thing. Thanksgiving on my end was really fun. My district (8 missionaries in Federal Way) made cookies and gave them to our friends. It feels great to serve! We ate Thanksgiving dinner with our member and much of his extended family.
A lot of changes are happening! I am already leaving Federal Way! Six weeks was not enough; I loved it so much. I am headed to Renton now. The most exciting news is that I will be training a new missionary!! I'm both nervous and excited at the same time.
Our friend Bernardo came to church and is interested in baptism! He is going to get baptized soon--as long as the new elders continue meeting with him.
Seattle weather is really hitting now! It has been really cold and rainy for several days. Staying warm means everything.
I hope you all are staying warm this winter while still serving others. The holidays are a great time to spread joy as we all know, and I invite you all to think of someone in need and show them your love. Whether it's a kind text, caroling, or raking some leaves, help someone know they are loved by you and by Heavenly Father. I testify that service is a Christlike action and lifts others up.
Love you all!
