Count Your Blessings
This week, I experienced a lot of hard, yet needed moments.
My email will be brief this week, so I apologize.
My companion and I got to give four blessings in one household! There was a young, paralyzed boy who we gave a blessing for because of his medical condition. His parents and a roommate additionally wanted blessings of comfort, so we did that too! Super spirit-filled.
Juan Jose is feeling very good about what we teach him. We challenged him to read a scripture passage and pray about it, and he is going to let us know how it went before we meet in person again. We're thrilled for him as he grows his testimony!
I did two service projects! One was trimming plants for a member as the winter gets colder. The other was helping a member move, and that was fun! Lots of heavy objects and furniture, but I always feel so accomplished when I'm finished.
I saw countless blessings this week, and I challenge you all to look at how God is blessing you too! It makes all the difference in how we feel confident about making it another day. Life is hard, and lately things have been really difficult for me. What's important, however, is relying on the Savior for true spiritual strength and answers to prayers. It works--maybe not right away, but little by little.
Gracias todo!
