Spanish And English

Hi everyone! I'm keeping my email brief today.

It's interesting being a Spanish missionary in the states because I get so many opportunities to speak both English and Spanish. Most of the missionaries I serve with are English speaking, so it's a total mix. I love getting to translate for people though.

This week, we had 5 people at church! It was great! I talked with 4 of them, and they enjoyed what they heard and felt. Work usually interferes with their Sunday schedules, so we're gonna work on that with these friends.

We taught the Plan of Salvation to our friend David, who is one of the people who came to church. He has come every week that I've been here! David's really quiet, but so friendly. He lives with two church members, so we taught him the Plan of Salvation with one of them. This helped us with sharing personal testimony of Christ in the Plan. We asked him if he'd be willing to commit to promises such as baptism, and he said he wants to learn more first. The thing is that he's been taught basically everything for a couple years now, so our Branch mission leader told us to ask him what else he wants to be taught. That's exactly what we're gonna do. The important part is that we made sure to testify that Christ is in the center and that this plan is one of God's love for us. We are excited to see where things go with him.

God is good. It's as simple as that.

More to come in future emails. Bellevue is great! Adios por ahora!
